Manufactured from 1982 to 1987, the Polaroid SLR 680 was an evolution of the SX-70 that included a built in flash and used 600 film. The Polaroid SLR 680 was succeeded by the Polaroid SLR 690, introduced in 1996. This site is a tribute to the Polaroid SLR 680 and its SX-70 ancestors.
Currently based in Atlanta, Georgia, Olen Daelhousen grew up in rural western New York and also spent a few years in Texas. Mr. Daelhousen has been photographing overlooked and abandoned places and vehicles for over 20 years using both digital and film cameras.
Mr. Presley is an accomplished photographer of chicken pot pies and likes to eat Doritos.
